    Job Description

    A local transportation company has an immediate opening for an Operations Manager to join our team in Honolulu, HI. We are a dynamic company with over 30 years of experience and hundreds of employees, with locations on all the major Hawaiian Islands.     DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Responsible for adhering to annual P&L

    o Budget

    -Capital expense

    -Operating expense

    o Analyze monthly

    -Minimize cost

    -Find waste

    • Develop programs/processes/procedures
    • Lead a team of 100 – 125 through training, guiding, coaching, and mentoring
    • Administer disciplinary action when required
    • Participate with the hiring process at certain levels
    • Adhere to and ensure employees follow company guidelines and handbook
    • Ensure we follow government/federal/state guidelines for the movement of household goods
    • Build and sustain relationships with partners locally, nationally, and internationally
    • Interact with customers

    o Understand their needs/requirements

    o Explain RHM’s process

    o Rectify concerns and issues

    • · Interact with the safety department and ensure all safety procedures are being adhered to

    o Complete all necessary forms

    o Participate in root cause

    o Participate in monthly company safety meetings

    o Participate in daily tailboard meetings

    • Participate and graduate from Royal Hawaiian Movers Furniture Mover Academy (3 weeks in house program)
