Transportation Dispatcher

Pittsburgh Transportation Group is seeking a full‑time Transportation Dispatcher to support our daily operations. In this key role, you’ll coordinate fleet activity, schedule drivers, manage shuttle and charter routes, and ensure our services run efficiently and safely.

Available Shifts
- Sunday – Thursday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Monday – Friday: 3:30 AM – 11:30 AM
What You’ll Do
- Monitor daily shuttle and charter operations
- Plan, route, and dispatch trips according to company policies and contracts
- Assist with weekly driver schedules and adjust assignments as needed
- Serve as a primary point of contact for drivers and provide operational support
- Track performance data and complete daily operational reports
- Assign vehicles and coordinate with maintenance on inspections and repairs
- Communicate with customers about schedules, reservations, and service questions
- Process bookings, updates, and cancellations accurately
- Work with Safety & Training teams to maintain compliance
- Respond promptly to customer feedback and service concerns
What You Need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of dispatching, routing, fleet management, or transportation operations experience (preferred)
- Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Dependable, proactive, and team‑oriented work style
- Commitment to delivering excellent customer service
