Transportation Dispatcher – Keep zTrip Moving in the Right Direction

We’re hiring a Transportation Dispatcher for our Kansas City operations team. In this important hybrid role, you’ll blend dispatch coordination with high‑quality customer support—assigning trips, assisting passengers, and ensuring smooth communication to keep both drivers and riders moving.

Shift: Tuesday – Saturday

What You’ll Do as a Transportation Dispatcher:

• Assign drivers to trips based on availability, proximity, and customer needs
• Monitor daily fleet activity to maintain on‑time service and operational efficiency
• Provide real-time updates, routing guidance, and instructions to drivers
• Answer customer calls with professionalism, accuracy, and empathy
• Troubleshoot service issues, delays, or disruptions and provide effective solutions
• Maintain detailed logs of trip activity, driver assignments, and vehicle deployment
• Partner with operations, customer service, and safety teams to enhance performance
• Support a companywide safety-first culture through adherence to all standards

What You Bring as a Transportation Dispatcher:

• Experience in dispatching, customer service, fleet coordination, or transportation operations (preferred)
• Strong communication skills for interacting with both drivers and customers
• Excellent multitasking, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities
• Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with dispatch or GPS-routing software (a plus)
• A valid driver’s license
