Key Responsibilities of a Transportation Driver Recruiter:

Lead Driver Recruitment

• Develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract top‑tier drivers
• Establish clear recruitment goals and work proactively to meet or exceed them

Drive Outreach & Engagement

• Build innovative outreach campaigns to connect with qualified driver candidates
• Respond quickly and professionally to all applicant inquiries to ensure a smooth, positive experience

Support Hiring & Onboarding

• Host informational sessions and orientations for prospective Independent Contractors (ICs)
• Guide candidates through each step of the process—from initial contact to onboarding and vehicle assignment

Manage Processes & Reporting

• Track applicants and maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records in the applicant tracking system
• Provide leadership with regular updates, insights, and recruitment performance reports

Strengthen Retention & Team Collaboration

• Partner with the Retention Manager and internal departments to support seamless onboarding and long‑term success
• Build productive relationships with drivers and office staff
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment and assist with additional duties as needed

What You Bring as a Transportation Driver Recruiter:

• Experience in recruiting, hiring, or sales (preferred)
• A motivated, goal‑driven work style
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple tasks simultaneously
