    Key Responsibilities of a Transportation Driver Recruiter:

    Lead Driver Recruitment

    • Create and implement recruitment strategies to attract highly qualified drivers
    • Set clear recruiting objectives and proactively work to achieve—or exceed—them

    Drive Outreach & Engagement

    • Develop innovative outreach initiatives to connect with high‑quality driver candidates
    • Respond promptly and professionally to applicant inquiries to ensure an excellent candidate experience

    Support Hiring & Onboarding

    • Host informational sessions and orientations for prospective Independent Contractors (ICs)
    • Guide candidates through each stage of the recruitment process—from first contact to onboarding and vehicle assignment

    Manage Processes & Reporting

    • Track applicants, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure all information is updated in the applicant tracking system
    • Provide leadership with consistent updates, insights, and recruitment performance reports

    Strengthen Retention & Team Collaboration

    • Partner with the Retention Manager and internal teams to support seamless onboarding and long‑term driver satisfaction
    • Build strong, collaborative relationships with drivers and office staff
    • Contribute to a positive, team‑oriented work environment and assist with additional responsibilities as needed

    What You Bring as a Transportation Driver Recruiter:

    • Experience in recruiting, hiring, or sales (preferred)
    • A driven, goal‑oriented approach
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong organizational abilities and comfort managing multiple tasks
    • Dependability, initiative, and strong self‑motivation
