Lil Explorers is currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Transportation & Facilities Support Staff member. This is a multi-task position ideal for someone responsible, flexible, and committed to maintaining a safe and clean environment for children.

Position Summary: This role includes driving the center vans for morning and afternoon transportation, assisting with facility cleaning and maintenance, and supporting weekend and evening operations as scheduled.

Key Responsibilities:

Transportation Duties: • Safely drive center vans for morning and afternoon pick-up and drop-off. • Ensure all children are safely secured according to safety guidelines. • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any concerns immediately. • Maintain transportation logs and required documentation. • Follow all DCF transportation regulations and safety policies.

Facilities & Cleaning Duties: • Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of classrooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas. • Deep clean classrooms and equipment as scheduled. • Assist with maintaining overall center organization and cleanliness. • Support preparation of classrooms and materials for the next school day.

Additional Responsibilities: • Work evening shifts as scheduled. • Be available to work Saturdays as needed. • Assist administration with general operational support. • Follow all health and safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications: • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. • Experience driving a passenger van preferred. • Must meet DCF background screening requirements.

• DCF 45hours Training • Ability to lift, bend, and perform physical cleaning tasks. • Reliable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling. • Strong sense of responsibility and professionalism.
