Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking a self-motivated Transportation NEPA Coordinator **** to join our Grand Rapids, Detroit, Novi or Traverse City, MI transportation environmental team. AECOM performs engineering and other associated services to develop and deliver various transportation projects for the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) and other local agency clients, including some of the most complex projects within the state. This position provides environmental support to the AECOM Michigan Transportation Environmental Unit and other subject matter experts for projects being developed and delivered by AECOM. This position will work closely with our client’s environmental staff as well as resource and regulatory agency staff to assist with environmental aspects of our projects. The person in this position will be supported by other staff and is expected to grow their knowledge of the NEPA process and procedures to obtain environmental clearance. The position is primarily an office-based position but may also participate in field investigation as needs arise.
