Pittsburgh Transportation Group is seeking a full-time Transportation Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this essential role, you will oversee daily fleet and driver operations, manage shuttle and charter routing, coordinate vehicle assignments, and support maintenance planning to ensure smooth, reliable service.

Shift Options:
- Sunday – Thursday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Monday – Friday: 3:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Key Responsibilities of a Transportation Operations Coordinator:
- Operational Oversight: Monitor and support daily shuttle and charter operations to ensure timely, efficient, and compliant service.
- **Dispatch & Routing: **Plan, route, and dispatch scheduled services in alignment with company policies, contracts, and labor agreements.
- Scheduling Support: Assist with weekly schedules and adjust assignments to optimize driver and fleet utilization.
- Driver Support: Serve as a primary point of contact for drivers—providing guidance, resolving concerns, and maintaining clear communication.
- **Data & Reporting: **Collect route data, track performance metrics, manage payroll information, and prepare daily operational reports.
- Fleet Coordination: Assign vehicles strategically and collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule inspections, repairs, and service intervals.
- Customer Relations: Communicate professionally with customers regarding schedules, pricing, reservations, and service inquiries.
- Reservation Management: Process new bookings, updates, and cancellations accurately to support smooth routing and scheduling.
- **Safety & Compliance: **Partner with the Safety & Training team to ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Issue Resolution: Respond promptly and professionally to customer feedback, complaints, or commendations.
- Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as needed to maintain seamless daily operations.
What We’re Looking for as a Transportation Operations Coordinator:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in dispatching, routing, fleet coordination, or transportation operations preferred
- Skills: Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and attention to detail
- Mindset: Dependable, proactive, team-oriented, and committed to excellent customer service
