Pittsburgh Transportation Group is seeking a full‑time Transportation Operations Dispatcher to help manage and streamline our daily transportation activities. In this vital role, you’ll oversee vehicle movements, assign drivers, coordinate shuttle and charter routes, and ensure that all services operate safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Available Shift
Monday – Friday | 3:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Key Responsibilities of a Transportation Operations Dispatcher:
- Oversee daily shuttle and charter operations
- Plan, route, and coordinate transportation services in compliance with company policies and contract requirements
- Assist with creating weekly driver schedules and adjust as needed
- Serve as the main communication hub for drivers, offering direction and support
- Monitor operational performance and prepare daily activity reports
- Assign vehicles and work with maintenance to schedule inspections and repairs
- Communicate with customers regarding schedules, reservations, and general service inquiries
- Process bookings, modifications, and cancellations accurately
- Collaborate with Safety & Training teams to ensure full compliance
- Respond quickly and professionally to customer concerns and service issues
What We’re Looking for as a Transportation Operations Dispatcher:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in dispatching, routing, fleet coordination, or transportation operations (preferred)
- Strong multitasking, communication, and organizational abilities
- Dependable, proactive, and team‑oriented work style
- Commitment to delivering excellent customer service
