    We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Transportation Supervisor who embodies our Core Values: Consistency, Adaptability, Reliability, and Teamwork (CART). In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily delivery routing and operations, support our Delivery Service Representatives (DSRs), and ensure the timely, professional, and efficient delivery, setup, and breakdown of products to enhance the client experience.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Assist leadership with daily operational responsibilities

    Oversee and manage paperwork for deliveries and pickups

    Act as the main point of contact for drivers and internal departments, responding to transportation-related calls, emails, and inquiries

    Coordinate with Accounts Receivable regarding missing items, discrepancies, and addendums

    Perform daily cash drawer reconciliation

    Prepare and distribute will-call sheets and short-pull lists

    Provide customer service at will call, assisting with order retrieval and loading

    Review daily reports and monitor inventory levels; collaborate with Inventory and Purchasing on shortages

    Manage routing and scheduling of deliveries and pickups, assign vehicles and routes, communicate schedules in advance, and maintain real-time communication with drivers to ensure timely delivery

    Arrange outside freight shipments as needed

    Track and submit receipts for IFTA reporting

    Maintain truck maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs with Penske and internal staff

    Track and report mileage, fuel usage, vehicle repairs, and transportation expenses

    Provide driver support and assist with resolving delivery-related issues

    Assist with and supervise truck loading/unloading (including third-party freight) and participate in deliveries/pickups, including tents and other rental equipment

    Supervise warehouse activities and delivery personnel and oversee special projects

    Prep equipment and tents for upcoming orders according to reservations as needed.

    Monitor will-call orders and shipment changes via Sage

    Handle emergency afterhours calls and same-day deliveries using company vehicles as needed

    Enter and update DSR time records in ADP

    Open and close the building as needed

    Foster a team-oriented environment that promotes collaboration and support

    Enforce all company policies and procedures

    Perform other duties as assigned

    Work Conditions:

    Office-based with regular exposure to warehouse areas, some of which may not be heated or air conditioned

    Will experience outdoor exposure and temperature extremes during the workday

    Regular use of potentially hazardous equipment and chemicals; appropriate safety precautions and PPE are required

    Physical activity including bending, lifting, and repetitive movements is expected

    Schedule:

    Full-time, 40+ hours per week

    Start and end times are determined by the day’s operational needs, and flexibility is essential, particularly during peak season when evenings, weekends, and overtime may be required

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    At least 21 years of age

    Proficient in English (written and verbal)

    Strong math skills, including fractions, percentages, and ratios

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with SharePoint, Sage, Roadnet, and Motive is a plus

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Strong analytical skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment and prioritize competing tasks

    Professional, approachable, and proactive demeanor

    Highly organized with strong attention to detail

    Able to meet deadlines and manage multiple responsibilities

    Ability to understand and follow written, oral, and diagram instructions

    Physically able to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs, and occasionally up to 75 lbs

    Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; ability to pass DOT physical and meet all company vehicle requirements

    Previous experience with tents, stages, or event rental equipment a plus

    Completion of Behavioral and Cognitive Assessment through the Predictive Index is required

    Must pass a company background check and drug screen
