    Trash Warrior is an early-stage urban tech startup in San Francisco, developing an on-demand marketplace of waste management for business clients. Trash Warrior is a 500 Startups company, with other investments from notable institutions including Lightspeed Ventures, Altair VC, and Alumni Ventures Group.

    Position Description

    We are looking for an outstanding business operations associate to lead the day to day operations and growth of the company, while working on initiatives that would “move the needle” for exponential growth and scaling up ops efficiency.

    Trash Warrior is a high pace environment, and we are looking for someone who can adapt to a startup's fast paced environment. It's important that you develop a strong sense of ownership towards achieving the specified objectives. It is important that this person demonstrates leadership qualities, high ethical behavior, and strives for cross team collaboration.

    As Business Operations, you will:

    • Work with our head of operations and growth to strategically assess our current processes and continually identify opportunities for improvement

    • Be a key team member in our cross-functional projects; meaningfully contribute to large projects, and potentially run smaller-scale projects -- especially once the candidate proves themselves

    • Write/conduct analyses in Excel and SQL; team dashboards, financial analyses/models, toolsets, etc

    • Collaborate closely with partnerships and sales to grow new partnerships and maintain existing relationships

    • Performance manager of the remote and distributed customer support team

    • Pitch in however you can when needed. We're a lean team working in a fast-paced environment; when things break you'll be a key player in diagnosis, resolution, and long term solution

    We're looking for teammates who have:

    • 1-3 years professional experience in Business Operations, Business Consulting, Investment Banking, or similar

    • Strong technical skills; Excel required; know SQL or have willingness to learn

    • An interest in sustainability and waste services

    • High attention to detail and are process driven

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

    • Self motivation and have a stellar work ethic. You're looking for the right company to support your growth

    • Flexibility and are ok with occasional weekend work

    • A positive attitude, a collaborative spirit, and a strong desire to achieve their goals

    • This is a San Francisco based role. You are expected to work from (a very Covid-safe) office environment from downtown San Francisco.
