Therapist Position Overview Ellie currently has 2 positions open for an experienced therapist who specializes in complex, systemic, and acute trauma as well as traumatic loss. One position is located in our beautiful Southpark office and the other in our thriving Blakeney location. Practice Description Ellie Mental Health is a kick @$$ mental health practice where diversity, humor, and authenticity thrive. Our Ellie "herd" prides itself on being a team that works collaboratively with clients and community providers to deliver the most comprehensive and personalized care. We offer individual, family, couples, and group therapy to ages 7+ in our beautiful Charlotte community.

Role Specifics:
Position Responsibilities Include:
Conduct intakes/initial assessments and provide ongoing therapy to teens and adults
Maintain a caseload of a minimum of 25 client visits per week.
Maintain appropriate clinical documentation, including treatment plans
Work with billing dept to maintain clean accounts for clients
Coordinate services with case managers, other providers, and school staff as needed.
Provide exceptional customer service for clients
Participate in all staff meetings and mandatory trainings
Assist with the selection and onboarding of new therapists (this promotes a welcoming, strong, and inclusive company culture)
Show up in our community! Engage in networking/social, outreach, and community-based events to reduce mental health stigma and promote Ellie in the Charlotte community.

Required Qualifications and Skills:
Candidates must be independently licensed as a LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT or an associate therapist in the state of NC.
Clinicians with supervisory credentials are strongly encouraged to apply. (Additional supervision pay for supervision sessions)
Out of state candidates must be within 30 days of receiving reciprocity in NC.
Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience post-graduation
Demonstrable experience in trauma-informed mental health care
Experience with assessments, treatment plans, and clinical documentation
Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
Proficiency with using EHR's
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to demonstrate adaptability and solution-oriented thinking
Ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
Ideal candidates will have a basic knowledge of insurance billing
Knowledge of community resources and a willingness to learn about and engage with Ellie's preferred providers
Proficient in the use of Office 365
Current or previous credentialing with insurance panels is preferable but not required
Therapists with LGBTQIA+ and/or First Responder/Veteran experience will be given priority
What else you should know:
This position is located in greater Charlotte, NC (Southpark, Blakeney) with an expected start date of late June 2026 (partially dependent on credentialing process)
Our clinics offer in person and telehealth options to clients
This position will be under the direction of the Clinical Manager
We believe in equal and transparent pay. The salary range for a full-time (25+/wk), independently licensed clinician is approximately $70,000-$86,000 per year and is dependent on weekly caseload. The salary for an associate clinician is approximately $61,000-$75,000 per year and is dependent on weekly caseload.
