The Position
- Join a highly rJoin a highly regarded, community-based practice of general and colorectal surgeons.
- Full-time position covering 7 Trauma shifts per month at MHMC, a Level III Trauma Center.
- 1 Outpatient clinic day per week in Larkspur – with opportunity to split into 2- ½ days.
- Hospitalist Program in place at MarinHealth Medical Center and Sonoma Valley Hospital.
- New state-of-the-art hospital and ORs at MarinHealth Medical Center.
- EPIC electronic health record utilized.
- Employment through Prima Medical Group.
The Position Requirements
- Board certified or eligible (with intent to become certified within 1 year) in General Surgery.
- Trauma Surgery fellowship required.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in California.
- Laparoscopic skills required.
- Robotics a plus.
- Strong philosophy of excellence in patient care and excellence in the overall patient experience.
- New graduates encouraged to apply.
- Spanish language skills a plus but not required.
Compensation
- The salary range for this position is $500,000 - $625,000. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experiences and patient care schedules. Additional pay may be determined for candidates that exceed specific qualifications and requirements.
- Competitive guaranteed salary for 2 years with move to productivity Year 3.
