Travel Nanny/Family Assistant - High Profile Baseball Family
A warm, high-profile baseball family is seeking a Travel Nanny/Family Assistant to join their household and provide year-round support. This family values loyalty, discretion, and flexibility—and they are looking for a true partner to help keep their household running smoothly while creating joyful, enriching moments for their four young children (infant through pre-K).
The family divides their time between Florida and various destinations during their “in-season" schedule with accommodations always thoughtfully arranged for their nanny. When traveling, the nanny enjoys private quarters **** (guesthouse, apartment, or hotel suite) and all travel expenses are covered.
👶 Childcare Responsibilities

Provide nurturing, hands-on care for four children (infant through pre-k age) alongside an involved stay-at-home mother
Plan and facilitate developmentally appropriate educational and play activities, both at home and on the go
Assist with daily routines—mealtime, bath, bedtime, school/play date preparation, and travel transitions
Organize creative play, sensory crafts, reading, and outdoor exploration
Support social and emotional development with empathy, calm communication, and consistency
Collaborate with mom to divide and conquer childcare (e.g., taking two children while she engages the others)
Maintain safety and structure while fostering independence and confidence

🏡 Family Assistant / Light Housekeeping Duties

Manage daily household tasks to ensure an organized, seamless environment
Handle light housekeeping related to the children—laundry, tidying play areas, restocking supplies, and light meal prep
Run errands, grocery shop, and coordinate household appointments (pet care, deliveries, etc.)
Oversee travel packing/unpacking and organization for children
Communicate with weekly housekeeper and private chef to ensure smooth household operations

🧩 Ideal Candidate

3+ years of professional nanny experience
Prior travel nanny experience
Experience with toddlers
Experience working with multiple children of different developmental levels at one time
Comfortable working alongside an active, hands-on parent
Thrives in an environment where flexibility and teamwork are essential
Warm, intuitive, and emotionally intelligent with a “go-with-the-flow” approach
Discreet, professional, and respectful of family privacy
Love for baseball or an understanding for how busy in-season baseball life can be is helpful
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

✨ Position Details & Perks

Compensation: $90,000
PTO: 3 weeks; 1-week allowed to be used during "in-season"
In-Season Schedule (March-September/October):
Approximately 50-60 hours per week
One guaranteed day off each week
A second day off will vary depending on the family’s schedule
Note: During the team's postseason schedule, workdays may be busier than usual, and days off may vary depending on travel and events.
Off-Season Schedule (October/November-February):
Approximately 20–40 hours per week
No weekends required
Advance notice will be provided if coverage is needed for a special occasion or weekend
Accommodations: Private nanny suite or guest space when traveling; live-out while in Orlando
Travel: All expenses covered while traveling (commercial flights, hotel, and meals)
Transportation: Family vehicle available for work use
