    Job Overview
    We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive materials to assist in the evaluation and diagnosis of various medical conditions. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging results that contribute to patient care.

    Duties

    • Perform PET scans and other nuclear medicine procedures according to established protocols.
    • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients while ensuring adherence to safety and aseptic techniques.
    • Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
    • Collaborate with physicians to interpret scan results and provide diagnostic evaluations.
    • Maintain accurate patient records, documenting procedures performed and any relevant medical history.
    • Educate patients on the procedures, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
    • Stay updated on advancements in nuclear medicine technology and best practices.

    Certfications: ARRT (N) or NMTCB / CA license, BLS

    Skills

    • Proficient in medical imaging techniques, particularly PET scans.
    • Strong understanding of nuclear medicine principles and practices.
    • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to effectively communicate with healthcare teams.
    • Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations accurately and efficiently.
    • Familiarity with aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during procedures.
    • Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and collaboration with medical staff.
    • Attention to detail in maintaining records and performing imaging tasks.
