    Responsibilities for nurse recruiter

    Reviewing any required applicant information such as license requirements or certifications, backgrounds, drug screens

    Coordinate onboarding process and communicating requirements to candidates

    Contributes on various department initiatives, and other duties as assigned recommending new approaches and ideas to effect continual improvement in efficiency of department and services provided

    Hiring Practice Management.Identify staffing needs

    Research & Evaluation.Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation

    Plan, coordinate and evaluate internal and external recruitment and retention programs for Registered Nurses (RNs) and Nurse Practitioners (NPs)

    Prepare a wide variety of complex staffing spreadsheets, memos and reports

    Provide accurate reports for the recruitment/retention needs of each service, including vacancy and turnover rates

    Identify and develop processes and/or systems to improve outcomes of the recruitment program and/or activities

    Collaborate closely with the Administrative Officers of each service to ensure an established line of communication to meet the staffing needs of the service

    Qualifications for nurse recruiter

    Nursing associates or bachelor’s degree preferred

    Current RN license in the state of CA, or Licensed in a compact state, and current CPR certification preferred

    Healthcare recruitment experience preferred

    3 years of experience in high volume recruiting (nursing or other clinical experience strongly preferred)

    Demonstrated use of applicant tracking system required

    Demonstrated knowledge of governmental regulations, court decisions and professional standards and practices related to EEO/AA, legalities and ethics of recruitment, and job analysis

    Knowledge of MS Office and Applicant Tracking Systems

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an attention to detail in effectively branding/marketing open positions
