Base salary: $40,000 plus commission (uncapped)
Summary:
Our Travel Agent - Asia Specialists are experienced travel consultants who channel their love of selling travel to create customized travel experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Convert client enquiries into bookings by effectively qualifying the call, offering different tour packages and quote pricing
- Ensure all reservations are processed with careful attention to detail, maintaining administrative tasks including documents. managing schedule changes, and processing airline tickets
- Communicate/sell our touring products and provide dedication to service through email, telephone and online chat.
- Develop long-lasting connections with your customers, creating referrals an offering unforgettable travel experiences to gain repeat business.
Requirements for this Travel Agent - Asia Specialist job are:
- 3 years' experience working as a travel agent/reservations consultant for a Tour Company
- Proven experience working in a sales environment with proven success in closing sales, meeting monthly set goals
- Must specialize in selling Tours in multiple countries of Asia including (but not limited to): Bhutan, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam.
- Strong knowledge of GDS/Airline reservations systems (preferable Amadeus). If you do not have GDS experience, you can join our Co-Pilot program where you will get hands-on air training.
