    Job Description

    United Pipeline Systems, Inc. is seeking Field Laborers for full-time, nationwide pipeline installation projects. This is a travel-based role supporting active job sites across the United States. Candidates must be willing and able to travel extensively and remain on the road for the duration of assigned projects.

    This position involves hands-on support for pipeline installation crews, including material handling, site preparation, and general construction labor. Work is performed outdoors on active construction sites in varying weather conditions and environments.

    Field Laborers are expected to travel wherever projects are located , often for extended periods. Installation crews perform hands-on manual labor essential to project completion.

    Salary

    $60,000-$85,000 annually, based on experience.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform hands-on manual labor in support of pipeline installation projects.
    • Assist with site preparation, material handling, and job-site cleanup.
    • Support installation crews with tool handling and basic construction tasks.
    • Follow all company safety policies, site-specific safety plans, and PPE requirements.
    • Participate in safety meetings, JSAs, and tailgate briefings.
    • Work effectively as part of a crew-based team in oil & gas and mining environments.
    • Travel extensively and remain on job sites for extended periods of time.
    • Commitment to safety, teamwork, and productivity in a fast-paced construction environment.

    Physical Demands

    Employees in this role must be able to:

    • Sit, stand, walk, climb, balance, and work with hands and arms for extended periods
    • Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
    • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
    • Maintain extended concentration while operating equipment
    • Meet vision requirements including close, distance, peripheral, color vision, depth perception, and focus
    • Enter confined spaces and comply with all applicable safety requirements

    Work Environment and Location

    • Home office locations Durango, CO and Farmington, NM
    • Work is performed primarily at outdoor job sites with moving vehicles and mechanical operations
    • Extensive travel required throughout the U.S.
    • Typical travel rotations are 3–4 months at a time
    • Travel by automobile and/or airplane
    • Average schedule: 10 hours per day, 6 days per week
    • Company-provided lodging while traveling
    • $59 daily per diem for meals and incidentals

    Requirements

    • Willingness to travel nationwide for extended assignments
    • Must be 21 years of age or older
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
    • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
    • Pre-employment background check, MVR screening, and drug & alcohol testing
    • Subject to random drug and alcohol screenings

    Preferred Experience

    • Minimum 6 months of pipeline, oilfield, or general construction experience
    • Minimum 6 months of heavy equipment operation experience
    • Prior traveling or international work experience is a plus

    Education

    • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
    • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
    • Additional education or relevant experience is preferred
