    Rinvio is hiring a Traveling Heavy Equipment Robotics Technician for a contract role supporting advanced equipment deployments on construction jobsites across the country. The best fit is someone who understands field conditions, heavy machinery, construction crews, and hands-on troubleshooting — and who is excited to work with modern autonomous equipment in real jobsite environments.

    Pay: Around $120,000/year, based on experience

    Location: Phoenix, AZ area preferred; candidates should live within approximately 30 miles of a major airport

    Travel: Heavy weekly travel to project sites across the U.S.

    Type: Contract / project-based

    Responsibilities:

    - Travel to construction sites to deploy, operate, inspect, and support robotic/autonomous field equipment

    - Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, sensor, and equipment-performance issues in the field

    - Maintain equipment, tools, electronics, sensors, and field hardware so deployments stay safe and productive

    - Coordinate with site teams, operators, and technical support contacts to resolve issues quickly

    - Assist with testing, setup, calibration, repairs, component installation, and preventative maintenance

    - Capture field feedback and document issues clearly for technical follow-up

    - Support scheduled overnight operations when project conditions require it

    - Follow safety expectations and maintain a professional jobsite presence

    Requirements:

    - Heavy equipment, construction equipment, field service, robotics, industrial maintenance, or machinery background

    - 5+ years hands-on experience repairing, maintaining, operating, or supporting complex equipment preferred

    - Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and comfort working with tools and field hardware

    - Ability to work around active construction operations and communicate clearly with operators and site leadership

    - Willingness to travel weekly for field assignments

    - Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to lift up to 60 lbs

    - Detail-oriented, dependable, safety-minded, and comfortable solving problems in changing environments

    - Electrical, hydraulics, fabrication, soldering, GPS/machine control, or automation experience is a plus
