    We’re seeking a high-energy, sales-driven, and construction-savvy Sales Consultant to join our traveling team. If you have experience in Solar, HVAC, Home Automation, Home Remodeling, or any in-home sales environment, and you thrive on connecting with customers and closing solution-based sales, this opportunity is built for you.

    What You’ll Do As a key member of a 3-person traveling sales team (Presenter, Sales Consultant, Install Crew), your primary responsibility is driving revenue and closing deals. You will:

    Attend dinner presentations (1.5 hours) and convert warm leads into scheduled in-home consultations

    Maintain, manage, and strategically maximize your consultation schedule to support the highest closing percentages

    Assist in planning installation schedules to ensure fast turnaround, reinforcing buyer confidence and momentum

    Prepare accurate, professional sales documentation that streamlines the closing process

    Post timely sales updates in a dedicated team chat using a standard format

    Identify customer needs, uncover pain points, overcome objections, and craft compelling solutions within their budget

    Explain project financing options in a way that supports closing the sale

    Take precise measurements and job-site photos to ensure accurate proposals

    Address customer questions and concerns with confidence, clarity, and professionalism

    Use critical thinking to resolve challenges and keep deals on track

    Maintain a clean, trustworthy, and polished appearance at all times—essential for in-home sales success

    What We’re Looking For We want competitive, motivated, goal-oriented sales professionals who want to earn what they’re worth:

    Valid driver’s license

    Ability to rent vehicles when traveling to new territories

    Strong communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills

    Demonstrated drive, resilience, and sales-focused mindset

    Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, and other tight environments during evaluations

    Ability to safely navigate attic/crawl space environments

    Able to simplify complex concepts to build homeowner trust and understanding

    Comfortable flying, driving long distances, and being away from home for 3–4 weeks at a time

    Schedule This is a travel-intensive field sales position with rotating territories across the U.S.:

    Presentations: Monday–Thursday at 2:30 PM and 5:30 PM

    Appointments: Next-day in-home consultations from early morning to late evening (Mon–Fri)

    Occasional weekend appointments

    Most weekends spent traveling to the next territory or resting

    Typical rotation: 2 weeks on, 1 week off, with occasional 3–4 week stretches
