    Traveling Industrial TIG Welder

    $27.00/hr During Training (Non-Union) → $35.10/hr Upon Successful Completion of Training & Union Affiliation

    Per Diem + 100% Paid Travel

    Based in St. Cloud, MN | Approximately 60% Travel

    Applicants must currently reside in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, or South Dakota.

    Join a team that services power plants, substations, and critical electrical infrastructure across the United States. You'll perform precision TIG welding while learning a highly specialized trade through a paid apprenticeship. Every project is different, travel expenses are fully covered, and you'll work alongside experienced craftsmen on some of the country's most important power generation facilities.

    What You'll Do:

    Perform precision TIG welding on aluminum, stainless steel, copper, and carbon steel

    Weld aluminum pipe in horizontal and vertical positions

    Read blueprints, welding procedures, and technical drawings

    Perform installation, maintenance, and repair work in power generation and industrial facilities

    Learn to inspect, repair, and install electrical bus duct systems through EBI's apprenticeship program

    Travel throughout the United States approximately 60% of the year

    Maintain the highest standards of quality and safety while working in critical infrastructure environments

    What We Offer:

    We're Looking For:

    1+ years of TIG welding experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment

    Experience welding aluminum and/or stainless steel

    Experience reading blueprints and welding procedures

    Background in industrial fabrication, process piping, pressure vessels, food-grade fabrication, aerospace, marine, or custom fabrication preferred

    Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

    Comfortable working at heights and in industrial environments

    Willing to travel approximately 60%

    Valid Driver's License

    Real ID or Passport

    OSHA 10 Certification

    Additional Requirements:

    Pass a background check

    Pass a drug screen (including marijuana)

    Pass a DOT physical and pre-placement medical exam

    Ability to obtain unescorted access to nuclear power generation facilities
