Rock Solid Stabilization & Reclamation, Inc. is seeking a skilled and dependable Traveling Mechanic to join our soil stabilization team. In this role, you will support field operations by maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of heavy equipment used in soil stabilization, including reclaimer/stabilizers, water trucks, tractors, graders, compactors, and support vehicles. Qualifications: Qualifications• 3+ years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic, field mechanic, or diesel technician.• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and heavy equipment components.• Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot efficiently in the field.• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required).• Willingness to travel extensively and work outdoors in varying conditions.• Self-motivated with strong communication and organizational skills.Preferred Experience• Previous experience in road construction, soil stabilization, or earthwork.• Familiarity with brands such as Caterpillar, Wirtgen, Volvo, John Deere, or similar.• Welding or fabrication skills. Compensation: $40 - $50 hourly
