Rinvio is hiring a Traveling Mission Critical Project Engineer to support MEP coordination, documentation, procurement tracking, and field progress on data center and critical infrastructure construction work. Candidates may be based anywhere in the United States if they can travel to project sites.
Pay: $190,000-$230,000/year, based on experience
Location: Nationwide / Traveling; candidates may be based anywhere in the U.S.
Schedule: Full-time travel-based project engineering role; schedule based on project needs
Type: Contract
Responsibilities:
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, as-built documentation, and project records
- Coordinate with trades on MEP installation, field sequencing, and construction documentation
- Track procurement, material delivery, and critical system readiness
- Support schedule updates, field progress tracking, issue logs, and project reporting
- Interface between field teams, design teams, project leadership, vendors, and stakeholders
- Support commissioning, energization, turnover, and quality documentation requirements
Requirements:
- Project engineering, construction coordination, MEP coordination, or commercial construction experience
- Mission-critical, data center, electrical, mechanical, low-voltage, or critical infrastructure experience preferred
- Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, as-builts, procurement tracking, and project documentation
- Ability to communicate clearly with field, design, vendor, and project leadership teams
- Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail
- Ability to travel to project sites and complete any onboarding requirements
