Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Traveling Construction Superintendent to provide on-site leadership and direction for all phases of field operations. In this role, you will oversee daily construction activities, coordinate subcontractors and trade professionals, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality. This is a key leadership position ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage day-to-day on-site construction operations

• Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and site staff to maintain efficient workflows

• Monitor project schedules, quality control, and jobsite safety compliance

• Maintain detailed daily reports and manpower logs

• Interpret and enforce project plans, specifications, and schedules

• Serve as the primary on-site representative of the company, maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, and field personnel

• Collaborate with Project Managers to meet deadlines and budget targets

Qualifications:

• 5–10 years of construction experience, with a proven track record in a supervisory role

• Technical college degree or equivalent field experience

• Strong knowledge of building systems, trade sequencing, and construction best practices

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications

• OSHA 10-Hour Certification required

• Current First Aid and CPR certifications

• Proficiency with construction software such as Viewpoint, Primavera, Microsoft Excel, and Word

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Work Environment:
This role requires active engagement on construction sites, including climbing ladders, navigating uneven terrain, and working in varying weather conditions. A hands-on, solution-oriented approach is essential.
