This position requires extensive travel and is ideal for a Superintendent who thrives in complex, high-visibility projects and takes ownership of field performance from mobilization through turnover.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead all on-site construction activities for data center projects, including civil, structural, architectural, and MEP scopes

    • Enforce site safety standards, company policies, and project-specific safety plans

    • Manage and coordinate subcontractors with a strong focus on mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and controls

    • Drive the project schedule, including pull planning, look-ahead schedules, and daily work planning

    • Coordinate with Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers to align field execution with cost, schedule, and procurement

    • Oversee quality control, inspections, testing, and commissioning readiness

    • Maintain accurate daily reports, manpower logs, and progress tracking

    • Lead site logistics planning, site access, laydown areas, and material flow

    • Participate in owner, design team, and subcontractor meetings

    • Support turnover, commissioning activities, and closeout documentation

    • Represent the company professionally with clients, vendors, and inspectors

    Required Qualifications

    • 7+ years of experience as a Superintendent on large commercial or industrial construction projects

    • Direct experience on data centers, mission-critical, or highly MEP-driven projects strongly preferred

    • Strong understanding of:

      • Electrical distribution systems

      • Mechanical systems (cooling plants, CRAHs/CRACs, piping)

      • Commissioning processes

    • Proven ability to manage aggressive schedules and multiple subcontractors

    • OSHA 30 (or willingness to obtain)

    • Willingness and ability to travel extensively for project assignments

    • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

    Preferred Experience

    • Prior experience on hyperscale or colocation data centers

    • Experience working on projects with live campus environments

    • Familiarity with pull planning, short-interval scheduling, and lean construction principles

    • Experience coordinating owner-furnished equipment and vendor installations

    • Background working with repeat clients and high-expectation stakeholders

    What We Offer

    • Competitive salary with project-based incentives

    • Per diem and travel accommodations

    • Opportunity to work on high-profile, technically complex data center projects

    • Strong pipeline of future mission-critical work

    • Long-term career growth within a respected construction organization
