  • Responsibilities

    GI Lab Care Technician performs various type duties in the preparation and assistance with GI procedures as well as scope washing and supply management.

    Required Skills Required Experience

    High School Graduate or its equivalent required. Experience in GI Lab or other procedural areas preferred. A minimum of BLS is required. BLS must be obtained within 30 days of hire. BLS must be renewed per BLS guidelines and up to date.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

     

    • MANAGERIAL/LEADERSHIP (45%)

    • Identify proper skills needed to accomplish project goals and collaborate with functional management to obtain appropriate resource. Provide oversight and direction to purpose partners for performance activities.

    • Set expectations for the project team members and direct reports by defining expectations and outcomes of project related activities.

    • Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity that allows for disagreement over ideas, conflict and expeditious conflict resolution, and the appreciation of diversity as well as cohesiveness, supportiveness, and working effectively together to enable each purpose partner and the project to succeed.

    • Work with project sponsors to effectively manage the financial responsibilities and activities of assigned projects.

    • Collaborate and negotiate with vendors/service providers on development of project plans, deliverables and project progress.

    • Collaborate with IT functional leaders to deliver projects that span business areas in a cost-effective way that complies with enterprise standards and processes.     • Make project decisions that are financially responsible, accountable, justifiable, and defensible in accordance with organization policies and procedures.

    • Establish and maintain relevant controls and feedback systems to monitor assigned project progress.

    • Review performance data to monitor and measure productivity, goal achievement, and overall effectiveness to meet project and staff goals.

    • Design, deliver and manage effective communications throughout the organization (up, down, & sideways) for assigned projects.

    • Consistently operate in a caring, humble, purposeful, transparent, mature manner- upholding corporate core values and leading by example.

    • TECHNICAL FUNCTIONS (55%)

    • Responsible for managing multi-phased, complex IT projects, following all phases of the project management life cycle.

    • Ensures requirements gathering and documentation are complete, aligning with business goals, IT strategy, and IT enterprise architectural road-maps.

    • Facilitates definition of project scope, goals and deliverables and works with project sponsor(s) to develop and gain approval of project charter.

    • Defines project tasks and resource requirements and develops full scale project plan.

    • Develops and executes plans for managing project budget, resource allocation, quality assurance and project-related risks.

    • Coordinates project plans with those of vendors and service providers working on assigned projects; includes vendor/service provider progress in project monitoring.

    • Provides direction and support to project team members.

    • Facilitates development and tracks progress of project deliverables.

    • Constantly monitors and reports on progress of the project to all stakeholders; presents reports defining progress, problems and resolutions.

    • Implements and manages project changes and interventions to achieve project outcomes.

    • Facilitates project evaluations and assessment of results.
