TRAX USA Corp is a leading aviation software company seeking a highly motivated accountant to support organizational growth and transformation. The Staff Accountant role will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation and maintenance of the organization of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash activity, among other general ledger items. Responsibilities also include assisting in the month-end closing process and account analysis.
Key Accountabilities
· Substantiate financial transactions by reviewing related documentation.
· Enter information into the general ledger.
· Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
· Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts as assigned and analyze variances.
· Prepare routine financial statements for management review.
· Support month-end and year-end close process
· Communicate effectively with internal and external parties.
Requirements:
Requirements:
· 1 – 2 year of accounting experience
· Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy
· Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
· Strong organizational and time management skills
Education
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting
