Responsible for ensuring that all loans are processed accurately and proficiently for submission to underwriting and closing. Must work closely with loan officers to ensure that loans fund on time and all purchase conditions are cleared.
Essential Duties
- Order all 3rd party information needed for the loan to close; appraisal, insurance, title, flood, voe’s, vod’s.
- Work closely with the loan officer and the customer to verify all information given at loan application.
- Have a working knowledge of loan programs and stay current on industry and investor changes
- Document the loan file with information needed to make a prudent underwriting decision.
- Run automated underwriting systems.
- Ensure compliance throughout processing.
- Deal with all personality types, both customer & loan officer.

- Interact daily with customers, loan officers, underwriters, manager, either on the phone or face to face.
- Must have ability to work long hours when needed, and handle high stress.
- Follow up with outstanding conditions prior to and after closing
- Complete FHA appraisal logging in FHA connection
