    Job Description

    ** POSITION SUMMARY:**

    Treace Medical Concepts, Inc. (TMC) is a dynamic, fast-growing medical device company focused on innovative product development and commercialization activities to address underserved foot & ankle clinical problems. Specifically, our primary goal is to develop innovative instrumentation and implants to drive improved outcomes in commonly performed hallux valgus (bunion) surgical procedures.

    The Associate Product Manager’s responsibility is to assist the team in product management initiatives with regards to cross functional product development, product launches, training, and sales support. This individual is also expected to have product line responsibility and develop sales tools and resources to enable business performance.

    This position interacts with cross functional team members and will require strong relationships and communication skills with Marketing, R&D, Sales, Operations and Regulatory.

    The Associate Product Manager must deal on a daily basis with abstract and conceptual problems. A keen ability to capture stakeholder inputs, develop detailed plans, and execute initiatives is required.

    ** PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**

    • Assists Product Management team in initiatives with regards to cross-functional product development, product launches, training, and sales support
    • Performs a variety of downstream marketing activities to include but not limited to launch strategies & plans, digital & print marketing collateral, sales force training & direct customer interaction
    • Responsible for managing exhibits & tradeshow materials and developing processes to achieve increased efficiencies
    • Produces competitive analysis materials comparing products with key competitors
    • Creates new content and updates library of sales resources
    • Develops sales tools to support product demonstrations
    • Develops clinical knowledge in product areas of responsibility
    • Collaborates with a wide variety of functional areas such as R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Legal, Operations and Sales to execute projects
    • Conducts product training for field sales force
    • Able to work with cadaver specimens

    ** KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:**

    • Strong computer skills
    • Strong communication and presentation skills
    • Moderate travel required: 20-30%
    • Candidate must be willing to relocate to Jacksonville, FL area and work from Ponte Vedra corporate office.
    • Must be able to handle multiple tasks/projects and manage priorities accordingly
    • Must have a high tolerance for ambiguity.
    • Must be able to grasp complex business issues and logically develop solutions.
    • Must be able to work in a team environment and exert influence without alienating others.
    • Must be extremely well organized with strong attention to detail.
    • Must be “hands-on” and achieve objectives within staffing and financial constraints of a start-up company structure.

    ** EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:**

    • 2 or more years of successful experience (marketing or sales preferred, but not required) in a medical device company with demonstrated progressive levels of accomplishment
    • Bachelor’s Degree
