Petrolink Energy, LLC is a midstream gathering, processing and treating company with over 3,500 miles of pipeline in 22 counties largely in eastern Oklahoma. Petrolink Energy, LLC deals with a wide spectrum of contracts related to the energy industry for a variety of product types. The company is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Treasury Accountant. Energy industry experience will be a plus.
The Treasury Accountant will assist with supporting the day-to-day liquidity management. This role will work closely with operations and management. The role will be responsible for daily and monthly recording of accounts payable and accounts receivable, assist with cash forecasting, and other tasks assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record daily cash transactions related to accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end journal entries related to cash activities
- Perform multiple account bank reconciliations
- Support month-end close processes
- Assist with daily and monthly cash forecasting
- Prepare general ledger account analysis and reconciliations
- Prepare and perform weekly check and ACH reporting
- Prepare and record new customer/vendor setups
- Customer/Vendor communications
- Support 1099 reporting and other regulatory requirements
- Assist with financial reporting needs
- Work closely with the accounting team to improve and streamline processes
- Perform other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting
Specific Knowledge/Experience:
- Minimum three years of treasury and general ledger accounting experience, energy industry is a plus.
- Experience working with multiple entities
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office, (e.g., power bi helpful)
- A solid understanding of accounting processes, and GAAP
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate across finance and non-finance functions
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Detail oriented and accuracy is a must
