Our client, a successful financial technology and services company, currently seeks a Treasury Analyst to coordinate cashiering activities and manage money movement on behalf of the company’s clients. The selected candidate will also be responsible for ensuring that activity is accurately reflected in the company’s proprietary systems.
Responsibilities:
- Posting daily cash deposits and disbursements including checks, wires, ACH, transfers, bill pay, and fees.
- Reconciling DDA’s for wires, checks, and cash balances.
- Processing sweep activity in accordance with client money market daily deadlines.
- Running and distributing overdraft reports to aid clients in cash management.
- Balancing system totals with daily cash activity.
- Reviewing and completing client requests via Workflow tickets.
- Providing client support via phone and email.
- Following daily schedule to ensure all tasks are completed as required per established timelines.
- Following operating procedures in accordance with audit requirements.
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree.
- Three plus years of work experience in the banking or finance industry.
- Knowledge of accounting, balancing, banking, and electronic payment processing.
- Microsoft Office expertise with an emphasis on Excel.
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and responsive.
- Ability to set priorities effectively and handle the demands of multiple tasks.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to excel independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in finance, accounting, business or economics is strongly preferred.
