    Job Description

    Contract roles are geared toward independent professionals interested in temporary or project-based work.

    Sia Title: Project Consultant (Exempt Contractor)

    Project Title: Treasury Liquidity Subject Matter Expert

    Level: Mid-Senior

    Project Length: This is a temporary position with an expected duration of 6 Months (with potential extension)

    Project Hours : 40 hours

    Location: Charlotte or New York Preferred

    The expected compensation range for this contract is $187k to $239k/ year. The exact pay rate will vary depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to skills, experience, and location.

    ** Responsibilities**

    • Work within a large program structure across matrixed workstreams focused on remediating an active MRA
    • Actively participate in client working sessions to understand current state of regulatory reports including but not limited to FR 2052a 6G
    • Leveraging product knowledge, past work experience, and regulatory expertise assist key workstreams with:
      • identifying and documenting, if required, current state reporting processes compared to regulatory standards
      • recommending, and if required, documenting target state approaches and solutions to meet regulatory standards
      • comparing current and target states, help identify gaps and research report issues including product data anomalies, process steps, business rules and technical challenges
      • updating project artifacts including but not limited to Issues/Gap Log, Risk Log, and Actions List
      • providing regular, timely updates to project workstream leads
    • If required, help backfill an existing FTE to free up capacity for the program
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related work experience
    • 7+ years of industry experience working in Liquidity management and knowledge of Liquidity reporting
    • Active experience liaising with business managers within a large Bank
    • Industry expertise with financial services products, mostly consumer and commercial banking
    • Functional expertise in liquidity risk management and LCR through specific product knowledge
    • Working knowledge of big bank finance, risk, treasury, and regulatory functions
    • Regulatory reporting knowledge of LCR, NSFR, etc. and experience with FR 2052a, FR-Y 9, FR Y-14/15, etc.
    • Functional working knowledge of data remediation, data quality, data lineage, data management
    • Energetic and self-motivated. Candidate should have a strong intellectual curiosity
    • Financial analysis and strong quantitative background
    • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
    • Ability to drive project goals across functions with minimal oversight
    • Knowledge of program/project management, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Agile methodology, a plus
