Recruiter: Bloom Talent Solutions is proud to partner with a respected Pacific Northwest commercial landscape provider to hire a Tree Care Account Manager.

Embrace Growth in the Green Industry: This is a unique opportunity to spearhead the tree care division of a $35M landscape company. As Tree Care Account Manager, you’ll work directly with leadership to build the foundation of a department ready to scale. There’s revenue already on the books and a long-term transition plan in place, you’ll step into a growth-minded role with autonomy and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all aspects of tree care operations, from sales and client relations to crew supervision
• Build and manage a book of business across Portland and surrounding areas
• Propose and implement pruning, removals, and plant health care solutions
• Schedule and oversee safe and efficient tree care operations
• Develop full tree care plans, including GPS mapping and long-term recommendations
• Ensure proper use, maintenance, and safety of all tree care tools, trucks, and equipment
• Oversee snow operations, routing, ticketing, and event prep as needed
• Collaborate with the maintenance division and communicate job schedules
• Attend client meetings, walk-throughs, and deliver clear scopes of work
• Drive profitability while ensuring client satisfaction and operational excellence
  

Qualifications:

• ISA Certified Arborist (or ability to obtain within first 12 months)
• 2+ years of professional tree care experience
• Strong sales and marketing background within green industry services
• Proven ability to lead crews and deliver on safety-first operations
• Working knowledge of pruning, rigging, tree health, risk assessment, and removals
• Comfortable managing accounts and communicating directly with clients
• Ability to schedule, track, and manage tree work effectively
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Tech-savvy with basic knowledge of software, GPS, and reporting tools
• ISA TRAQ and TCIA CTSP certifications encouraged

Rooted in Opportunity:

The role is based out of the Vancouver branch, serving the Portland metro and south to Salem. You’ll work outdoors in a dynamic, hands-on environment while helping shape a new service line from the ground up.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Base Salary: $80,000–$100,000
• Commission Potential: $10,000–$20,000+ in Year 1 (with room for significant growth)
• Opportunity to lead and grow a department at a well-established company

• Long-term upside as the current tree care agreement expires and business transitions
