Overview:
Have a deep understanding of Company's existing CNC Workholding products/services and work with engineering to drive new product development.
Build and maintain strong relationships with Company's Workholding partners and be knowledgeable on their fixturing product offerings.
Assist in developing and maintaining relationships with key accounts.
Work directly with existing customers and new prospects to understand their current and future CNC machining processes and needs.
Use Company’s products along with partner products to develop the most optimal Workholding package for customers. Basic CAD modeling of concept required in most instances.
Train and develop technical sales skills and product knowledge for Company employees, partners, and customers.
Ensure all products/services are accurately represented in all sales and marketing channels in order to deliver an exceptional user experience that will drive profitable action.
Analyze and interpret commercial data, including digital marketing metrics, sales opportunities, pipeline, sales history, and the voice of the customer data.
Manage programs that support customers, prospects, and sales partners with educational content that makes them successful.
Plan and lead business development initiatives and support direct and indirect sales.
Log detailed notes on prospect and customer interactions in the CRM System
Be a positive representative of the company and its brand in the marketplace including online activity such as LinkedIn.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
BS in engineering field or trade school preferred. Substantial work experience may substitute.
Exposure surrounding CNC machining in some capacity is required.
3D CAD Design (SolidWorks preferred)
Must be able to perform shop mathematics, read and understand print dimensioning and tolerances.
Solid computer knowledge of windows OS and office products
Strong communication skills in person and over phone/email
Working Conditions:
Normal office environment in Rockford, IL
Partial remote work may be allowed based on the circumstances
Travel: As required for trade shows, open houses, or other events (estimated 5-10 times per year)
