Our client is a PE-backed, fast-growing company operating high-end mobile food vendors and locations across the United States. Their goal is to connect businesses, consumers, and communities through food while providing an amazing culture and workplace experience for their employees. They are seeking a Chief Growth Officer to build the sales operations function, taking charge of revenue growth, operating metrics, and overall growth strategy as they navigate the hyper-growth stage and beyond. Reporting directly to the CEO, the ideal candidate will have experience building out sales verticals and strategy, working for companies that provide services (as opposed to products), and will be able to transform the business's sales, operations, and strategy as a whole.

This is a hybrid role reporting to our client’s Los Angeles office several days each week.

    Responsibilities:

    - Lead the charge in new partner and client acquisition, growth operations, sales strategy, and customer retention/upsell
    - Play a pivotal role in large deals and discussions regarding key partnership opportunities
    - Serving as a player/coach, create a strategic, data-informed, well-structured framework that enables the sales team to operate at the highest level
    - With the CEO and executive team, develop and execute frameworks of success that will guide teams in future endeavors, integrating the frameworks into the company’s overall strategy
    - Establish customer acquisition and retention strategies as well as customer feedback loops to drive improvements to the sales delivery model, including the implementation of KPIs to monitor success
    - Spearhead the selection and integration of various sales tools, analyzing their effectiveness across all revenue streams
    - Liaise with PE partners and Board members while developing and fostering relationships with key clients, partners, and influencers
    - Lead the organization in capitalizing on advanced analytics and insights to break down and predict market trends and challenges, sharing insights with key stakeholders
    - Create and implement scalable revenue strategies that align with the company’s business strategy, providing leadership systems and tools to marketing, sales, and customer success teams
    - Develop and champion efforts to reach and exceed revenue targets via vertical growth initiatives, market trend analysis, and capitalizing on growth opportunities
    - Implement pricing strategies to protect and enhance profits and reduce operational costs while ensuring market competitiveness without compromising customer satisfaction
    - Create, lead, and mentor a high-performing revenue team, fostering a progressive, accountability-driven culture focused on continuous improvement

    Qualifications:
    - Bachelor’s degree, required; MBA preferred
    - 10+ years of experience building out agile sales operations through data-intensive decision-making, with a track record of implementing growth-oriented KPIs, analytics, and reporting
    - Experience working with a B2B business or creative services provider, required
    - Ability to tailor prior experience and knowledge to this unique business, creating an effective growth strategy while remaining open-minded and eager to learn
    - Collaborative spirit – the CGO will lead internal teams and work closely with the executive leadership team while also liaising with external stakeholders, clients, and partners
    - Experience working at the Board level – PE background useful, but not required
    - Proven track record of achieving vertical growth, margin protection, and building successful frameworks that complement the overall business strategy
    - Confident, assertive style while still open to learning, respectful to all company employees and external stakeholders
    - Best-in-class strategy and analytics chops with an understanding of the dynamics of the PE landscape and its challenges
    - Experience building out, mentoring, and leading high-performing teams
    - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and willingness to go above and beyond to achieve the company’s mission – this is not a strict 9-to-5 role. Experience working for companies in the hyper-growth stage strongly preferred.
