    Our client is a leading real estate investment, development, and management firm based in Southern California, with a focus on commercial, industrial, and studio/production assets. They are seeking a Senior Associate, Financial Planning & Analysis to join their dynamic team. This role will serve as a righthand to the CFO, leading projects and ongoing management efforts across budgeting, cost control, management reporting, business analytics, and process improvement. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the Senior Associate will provide insights, enhance business performance, and support strategic initiatives.

    The ideal candidate will bring a robust array of analytical abilities, a demonstrated history in overseeing planning and business analysis tasks, as well as proficiencies in project management.

    This is an in-person role based in Los Angeles, CA.

    Responsibilities:

    \- Oversee financial and operational approaches for various projects, creating budgets, systems to monitor costs and capital expenditures, and financial safeguards to establish a structure for responsibility and attainment of fiscal objectives

    \- Engage in cross-functional initiatives and undertakings, utilizing financial proficiency to drive successful outcomes

    \- Monitor and evaluate industry and market trends to predict potential financial effects on the organization

    \- Create thorough financial reports and presentations for senior management and additional stakeholders

    \- Monitor operational costs, identify potential cost-saving opportunities, and provide key stakeholders with recommendations to optimize financial performance and resource allocation

    \- Perform financial modeling and scenario analysis, as well as design enduring tools for evaluating the consequences of different business endeavors

    \- Streamline reporting and analysis procedures to provide timely and actionable insights to company leadership

    \- Function as a strategic collaborator, offering financial insights and suggestions to guide decision-making across all levels of the company

    \- Work alongside top executives to align financial strategies with operational objectives

    Qualifications:

    \- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field – MBA a plus

    \- 2-5+ years in financial or real estate analysis, asset/portfolio management, finance, or accounting

    \- Demonstrated history of steering financial strategy, enhancing financial outcomes, and overseeing financial risk is crucial

    \- Ability to lead through influence and develop and implement creative and practical approaches to solve complex strategic and financial challenges in an entrepreneurial environment

    \- Exceptional communication aptitude, with the skill to convey complex financial concepts to important stakeholders
