    Our client is a multi-billion dollar real estate company based in Southern California that owns and manages a variety of high-profile real estate investments and owns an entertainment company that provides resources like studio design and development, studio management, design and development, equipment and prop services, and more to major production companies and small-to-midsize operations all around the world. They are seeking a VP of Investor Reporting & Client Services to manage investor reporting materials and all performance communications. The ideal candidate will have experience developing, preparing, and delivering investor reports; responding to investor notices inquiries, and everyday maintenance and communications with high net worth investors in the real estate private equity world.

    This is an in-person role in Los Angeles, CA.

    Responsibilities:

    - Work closely with acquisitions, legal, asset management, accounting, and finance teams to convey investment performance and proposed strategies to existing high net worth investors
    - Act as primary investor relations contact for existing relationships in the US and Europe
    - Oversee a Investor Reporting Associate and IR Analyst’s performance, including the creation of investor relations materials and high net worth investor queries and capital raises
    - Liaise with external vendors as well as internal teams to utilize the company’s external CRM database as the primary system for investor communications and data
    - Oversee updates and maintenance to the CRM database in a timely manner
    - Brainstorm, refine, and implement standard operating procedures to improve content and quality of quarterly reports and overall investor communications
    - Work closely with the Chief Compliance Officer, ensuring all IR materials are compliant with regulatory and legal requirements
    - Alongside the finance team, ensure consistent and accurate metrics for investment and fund-level investor materials
    - Oversee current database of investor FAQs, to be leveraged in response to investor inquiries
    - Keep track of high net worth fundraising investor interest, overseeing content and materials from due diligence to executed closing
    - Serve as right hand to the Head of Investor Relations in creating a positive image and brand awareness for the firm via the company’s website and social media channels
    - Assist in the preparation of information for company press releases

    Qualifications:
    - Bachelor’s degree, required
    - 7-10+ years of experience in an investor relations or reporting role, with at least 3-4 years in the private equity real estate industry
    - Client-facing experience, strongly preferred – experience in such a role with high net worth investors, a big plus
    - Experience overseeing junior team members
    - Demonstrated track record of success in juggling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
    - Excellent work ethic, with strong attention to detail and sound judgement
    - Advanced MS Office proficiency, especially in Excel
    - Best-in-class written and verbal communication skills
    - Strong quantitative and analytical chops
