Job Description
Treehouse Strategy, a New York-based management consulting company, is looking for a marketing intern. This is an unpaid internship position. The intern take assist in one or more of the following tracts:
CONTENT CREATION TRACK
1. Research business topics
2. Write blogs on business, management, healthcare, technology, sales and marketing, and other topics
SOCIAL MEDIA TRACK
1. Create relevant postings for Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other social media
2. Make daily postings/schedule them
3. Monitor social media activities
DESIGN TRACK
1. Design brochures
2. Design banner ads
3. Design logos
4. Design other 2-D
WEB DESIGN TRACK
1. Design WordPress websites
2. Maintain websites
3. Make content and design updates
MULTIMEDIA TRACK
1. Video editing
2. Video marketing and promotion, or
3. Multimedia content creation such as e-learning, or
4. 3-D or animation
EMAIL MARKETING TRACK
5. Write email content as part of marketing campaign
6. Create marketing campaigns in MailChimp or other marketing automation platforms
7. Research companies and build contact list
8. Contact specific companies
9. Connect with people on LinkedIn
10. Send emails and follow-ups
SEO TRACK
11. Monitor search engine analytics
12. Devise ways via content marketing to improve SEO results

We work with our clients in the translation and localization industry to devise strategies to penetrate more customer accounts, broaden the spectrum of solutions and service offerings, and bring them to market. We also advise our clients on a range of strategic, sales, and operational matters.

REQUIREMENTS
· Depending on which track(s) you are interested in, relevant course work or experience related to that track
· Excellent writer (writing samples needed)
· Social media savvy
· Very tech-savvy with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
· Highly creative
· Problem solving
ENVIRONMENT
· Approximately 20 hours per week, working remotely
· Weekly video conference
· You must have your own computer. The computer should be equipped with a webcam and microphone for video conference. Also sign up for both Google Hangout and Skype accounts.
· Have your own Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Acrobat
· You must have reliable high-speed Internet connection
Experience
· Pursuit of college or university degree in English, communications, business, marketing, or other related disciplines
