Overview: 

Trek10 is looking for an experienced financial Controller to undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, and continued development of internal control policies and procedures. Controller responsibilities will also include leading and coaching the accounting team. 

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

• 8+ years experience in accounting
• 2+ years in Public Accounting
• 2+ years in a Controller or equivalent position
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Strong numerical proficiency
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Experience with QB Online or comparable accounting software
• Experience with multi-state tax and compliance requirements
• Demonstrated ability to lead/coach others
• Masters degree and/or CPA preferred

Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports and report variances
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Additional accounting related duties as necessary
