Treva Corporation is currently seeking a full-time RNBIOTECH MED ON 8A-4:30P DAY SHIFT, for a well-known hospital in SAN LUIS OBISPO,CA. This is a 13 WEEK CONTRACT with a high possibility of extension. Must have at least 2 YEARS of experience. Great pay!

Position Description

Completes assigned scheduled and unscheduled work orders. Duties include completing incoming equipment inspections, completing routine equipment inspections and equipment electrical safety inspections. Completes documentation as outlined in equipment management plan. Closes scheduled and unscheduled work order documentation in maintenance database as part of the inspection and repair process. Provides equipment repair, calibration, installation, inspection and evaluation, consultation and user training on complex medical systems. Completes equipment special projects assigned.

Requires: High School Diploma, CADL

Desired Training/Education/Experience/Certification: A.S. Degree in Electronics or Biomedical Technology preferred, 5+ years previous hospital experience preferred. ICC certification as Biomedical Equipment Technician preferred. Must have competent writing skills, computer skills and a basic competency in math. The ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work with frequent interruptions is required. Successful incumbent will have customer service orientation and the ability to communicate and listen effectively. Must have excellent people and communication skills to respond to complex situations with patients, visitors and staff. Has good knowledge of schematics and works independently on repairs, safety testing and preventive maintenance (PM). Maintains records, and coordinates outside repairs.
