Treva Corporation is currently seeking 2 RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST for a hospital in MODESTO, CALIFORNIA. Position is working MONDAY-FRIDAY, DAY SHIFTS AVAILABLE, 40 hours per weeks, 26 WEEK CONTRACT. Equipment used: Care stream, Quantum, GE and Siemens. High possibility of extension. Great pay!

JOB DUTIES:

The primary role of an RADIOLOGY Technologist is using x-ray equipment to produce images of tissues, organs, bones, and vessels.

• Prep patient for diagnostic imaging exam.
• Take medical histories.
• Produce x-ray films of parts of the human body for use in diagnosing medical problems such as cancer or fractures.
• Explain procedure to patient.
• Surround the exposed area with radiation protection devices.
• Position radiographic equipment at the correct angle and height over the appropriate area of a patient's body.
• Measure the thickness of the section to be radiographed.
• Adjust controls on the x-ray machine to produce radiographs of the appropriate density, detail, and contrast of the body part.
• Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records.

Qualifications:

• Must be registered through AMERICAN REGISTRY OF RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST (ARRT) OR DIAGNOSTIC MEDICAL SONOGRAPHY (ARMDS)
• Must have a current BLS
• Must have at LEAST 1 YEAR experience
• Current immunizations and/or screenings (MMR, DPT, Varicella, HEP B and TB) required
