Treva Corporation is currently seeking a full-time ECHOCARDIOGRAM TECHNOLOGIST.The position is located IN MODESTO, CALIFORNIA, DAY SHIFT,4 X 10 HOUR SHIFTS, MUST BE REGISTERED IN VASCULAR (RDCS OR RVT) AND BE ABLE TO PREFORM BOTH ECHO AND VASCULAR PROCEDURES, INCLUDE ALL CERTS AND LICENSES,26 WEEKS ASSIGNMENTS AND WORK THROUGH 2 HOLIDAYS.

Echo technicians are responsible for preparing patients and diagnostic equipment for imaging procedures. They also explain procedures to patients. After positioning the patient, an echo tech applies gel that aids in sound transmission to the patient's skin before using the diagnostic equipment to create images of the patient's heart. Afterward, the echo technician helps physicians interpret the data from the images and determines which images should be saved and which should be discarded. Echo technicians may also be responsible for ensuring that records are kept properly

YOU WILL PERFORM THE FOLLOWING DUTIES:

• Provides preliminary diagnostic evaluation
• Notifies Cardiologists of results of examinations
• Consults with Cardiologist to establish requirements for non-standard examinations
• Determines technical factors to satisfy requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have at LEAST 2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE in interventional cardiology/cath lab/critical care
• Required: ASSOCIATES’ DEGREE and passing the ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY REGISTRY EXAM
• Current BLS
• Current immunizations and/or screenings (MMR, DPT, Varicella, HEP B and TB) required
