GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Marketing
Possess a fervent interest in strategic marketing concepts and processes-particularly those related to branding, brand stewardship and advertising.
Obtain an understanding of client businesses, competitors, categories, markets, customers and prospects and assist the Strategic Planner and Account teams in uncovering insights that both enhance the work the agency does for clients and contribute to the achievement of clients’ goals.
Assist in the facilitation of and participate in brainstorming and ideation sessions when necessary.
Write memos that provide key insights about and implications for clients’ and prospects’ businesses to the Strategic Planner.
Proactively disseminate information of interest, particularly new developments in the fields of advertising, marketing and digital solutions to the Strategic Planner.
Market Research
Have an interest in all types of primary research methodology and the desire to develop an understanding of the appropriate applications of the various research methods.
Develop an understanding of the secondary research tools available to the agency through CMI and 4A’s and, when asked, mine and share these resources with the Strategic Planner and Account teams, as appropriate.
New Business
Support the Strategic Planner in research and developing presentations for new business.
