Trexis Insurance located in Franklin, Tennessee (Nashville area) is one of the leading private passenger non-standard to mid-market auto carriers. We are A rated by A.M. Best and currently have a Product Analyst opportunity available in our corporate office. This entry level position will assist the Product Management team in the evaluation and preparation of rate, rule and form filings for assigned states. Report on and analyze underwriting report costs, agent incentive spending and the effects of price changes.

Duties:

Assist in Product Review and Revision Support.

Ongoing data review.

Compile competitor analysis.

Assist in Department of Insurance Filings.

Assist in forms creation and implementation.

Compile Underwriting Report Analysis, Agent Incentive Analysis and Rate Book Code Analysis.

Miscellaneous Projects and other assigned duties.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

BA or BS degree preferably with a math, actuarial or business focus.

Additional underwriting, marketing, agency or claims experience is very helpful, but not required.

SAS and SQL experience preferred, but not required.

Superior math skills.

Strong spreadsheet and/or database skills are required.

Excellent organizational skills, written and oral communication skills.

Possess the ability to deal courteously and effectively with various internal/external customers and deal with confidential information and meet strict deadlines.

Self-motivated and able to work well without supervision in a fast-paced environment.
