We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead and continue to build and develop our team of sales professionals.

    Position Overview:

    As a Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the sales efforts of our forklift dealership. You will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of sales professionals, while also actively engaging in the sales process to achieve individual and team targets. You will collaborate closely with the senior management team and ownership to develop and implement effective sales strategies, identify new business opportunities, and build strong relationships with clients.

    Responsibilities:

    Lead and inspire a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.

    On-board, train, instruct and educate new sales team members.

    Develop sales-related documents, including training manuals, procedures and policies.

    Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.

    Monitor and analyze sales data and market trends to identify areas for improvement and capitalize on new opportunities.

    Actively participate in the sales process, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals.

    Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, providing exceptional customer service.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including service, rental, parts and marketing departments, to ensure a seamless customer experience.

    Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments to maintain a competitive edge.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in business administration or management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

    Proven track record of success in sales management, preferably in the materials handling industry.

    Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performers.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients.

    Results-driven mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.

    Exceptional negotiation and closing skills, with a consultative approach to selling.

    Proficient in using CRM and business systems to manage leads, track sales activities, and generate reports.

    Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites and industry events, as required.
