2021-22 FACULTY POSITION

TALLAHASSEE COMMUNITY COLLEGE is a dynamic and growing comprehensive community college located in Tallahassee, Florida. The College’s 2020 fall enrollment of more than 12,000 students includes nearly 44 percent minority students. The College enjoys a strong reputation for teaching excellence and for producing graduates with Associate in Arts degrees, Associate in Science degrees, and college credit certificates. Tallahassee is also home to two state universities, Florida State University and Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. Faculty responsibilities include instruction, curriculum, service and support of college policies and procedures, and professional development. Starting salaries for instructional faculty positions are competitive.   

MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNOLOGY ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

• MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Minimum of a Master’s in Medical Laboratory Sciences or related field from an accredited college or university and a U.S. generalist certificate as a Medical Laboratory Scientist and/or Medical Technologist by the American Society for Clinical Pathology -Board Certification (ASCP-BOC) is REQUIRED.

*Applicants currently enrolled as graduate students who anticipate completing their course of study AUGUST 31, 2021 are encouraged to apply, but must submit from the dean of their school their current standing and anticipated program completion date in addition to the required documents listed above.

Required Skills Required Experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Knowledge of automobile loans.
• Knowledge of selling automobiles and/or other vehicles
• Knowledge to sell automobile accessories, mechanical breakdown warranties, and guaranteed auto protection (GAP).
• Excellent service skills.
• Ability to process vehicle sales paperwork.
• Ability to collect trade-in titling documents and loan payoff information.
• Ability to work weekends.
• Ability to complete and submit DMV paperwork.
• Ability to work with other credit unions on assimilating repossessed inventory.
