    This position is a Senior role within the organization, whose primary responsibility is to lead, manage and build a team of highly talented engineers building critical products for our clients.

     

    The ideal candidate must possess the ability to attract and recruit the industry's best talent, as well as have the technical expertise to ensure that we are building compelling and innovative solutions for our customers in an iterative methodology. They must be able to lead the team in solving complex development tasks. Additionally, they are expected to coordinate with senior leadership to determine requirements and ensure that system improvements are successfully implemented to facilitate continual improvement.

    SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES & DELIVERABLES FOR THIS ROLE INCLUDE:

    • Primarily responsibility is leading Tri Star’s internal development team to design, develop, document and maintain its web-based application.
    • Consult with the COO to understand the short and long-range goals and needs of the organization as related to product development.
    • Responsible for the day-to-day management of the development team, ensuring that they meet goals and objectives.
    • Build and manage projects using generalized, non-militant agile scrum methods, administer Jira without creating unnecessary processes.
    • Develop and implement software development plans.
    • Manage software development schedules, budget and resource allocation.
    • Provide employee coaching, mentoring, and development as needed.
    • Collaborate with internal and external talent as required - ad agencies, coding agencies, designers, freelancers, etc.
    • Serve as Scrum Master, leading the development team in using Agile methodologies.
    • Dynamically collaborate with stakeholders to develop clear project requirement documents while discussing over Zoom in real-time.
    • Review burndown charts and related reports to ensure projects are on schedule and within budget.
    • Remove impediments and resolve conflicts and issues that occur.
    • Interact with different members to ensure successful delivery of each sprint and product release.
    • Create technical solutions using various skills and tools like screen mock-ups, wireframes, UX prototypes, workflow diagrams, drawings, and lean documentation.
    • Oversee a variety of projects that are both business related and technology related.
    • Develop and maintain software projects road map that supports company initiatives, use for resource planning and organizational alignment.
    • Oversee and assist with QA testing.
    • Document and introduce new features for internal users as training guides or screen recordings.
    • Accountable for realistic functional design material that the IT team can build from.
    • Performs other related duties as required.

    REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Masters degree in Engineering or Business Administration preferred.
    • 5+ years of related experience required.
    • Excellent financial skills and ability to analyze financial data; extensive technical knowledge of Accounting and Finance product engineering and development.
    • Ability to complete work in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner and to be conscientious about assignments.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company.
    • Excellent managerial and supervisory skills; ability to exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others and works to maintain constructive working relationships.
    • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills and capacity to adapt quickly and adjust to changing and often challenging environments.
    • Successful track record as a software product manager, business analyst or similar
    • Ability to draw/sketch/visually plan with ease
    • Skilled at creating user interface wireframes
    • Ability to apply analytic and critical thinking to develop accurate data and logic
    • Highly organized both in actions and in mind
    • Willing to read books, further education
    • Positive, optimistic and results-oriented (it’s okay to be eccentric)
    • Extensive technical knowledge of engineering and product development.
    • Strong knowledge of AWS SDK to develop secure and scalable cloud applications; AWS development related certifications a plus.
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
