    JOB DESCRIPTION

    We are seeking a highly motivated and outgoing individual for the Business Development position, to help continue our business success, expand our market share, credibility and customer diversity, serve as a valuable source of information for customers and the public and service current customer accounts. As a Business Developer with Tri State Restorations, you will contribute valuable sales and marketing information and strategic recommendations to achieve operational objectives.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    As a Business Developer with Tri State Restorations, you will help develop, implement and evaluate advertising, merchandising and trade promotion programs. You will also help us develop outside sales action plans to grow our market share and success.

    Additional tasks of the Business Development position include:

    • Working with current and potential customers in the Maryland/Virginia and DC metro area
    • Assisting in the implementation of production, productivity, quality and customer service standards
    • Solving problems, identifying trends and assisting in determining necessary system improvements
    • Developing and maintaining new relationships with the insurance community via agents, adjusters, plumbers, HVAC, construction firms, property managers and other key players
    • Working with the company executive and staff to determine annual and gross profit plans by assisting in the forecasting and development of annual quotas for specific areas
    • Projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new opportunities

    Additional responsibilities of the Business Development position include:

    • Assisting in new marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements.
    • Defining market competitor's share, strengths and weaknesses.
    • Forecasting projected business.
    • Establishing targeted market share.
    • Staying very involved in the community through participation in specific trade associations.
    • Acting on revenue goals and contributing to new ones.
    • Taking the lead on setting up and creating Trade Shows and Continuing Education Courses (1 or 2 a year) for our clients.

    REQUIREMENTS

    As a Business Developer with Tri State, you must have exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, creativity and an entrepreneurial mindset. You must be able to develop strong customer relationships and close sales effectively. You must also be looking to commit to a long-term career with a financially solid, swiftly growing and employee-friendly company.

    Additional requirements for the Business Development position include:

    • Minimum 1-2 year sales or marketing experience. College graduates welcome with bachelors degree or better with marketing studies.
    • Strong working knowledge of marketing concepts, positioning, sales planning, competitive analysis and product development
    • Working knowledge of Salesforce or equivalent software program
    • Outside sales and/or customer service experience a plus
    • Working knowledge of social media and emerging technologies a plus
    • Experience with Trade Shows (1 or 2 a year) is a PLUS
    • Someone who is easy-going, compassionate towards people, outstanding customer service skills.

    JOB TYPE: FULL-TIME

    SALARY: $40,000.00 TO $50,000.00 /YEAR AND COMMISSION
