Job Description

INTERNATIONAL AIRLINE COMPANY IS SEEKING AN AIR CARGO OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE AT LAX AIRPORT. DIRECT HIRE/ EXCELLENT BENEFIT PACKAGE. MUST HAVE ASSOCIATES DEGREE WITH 2 YEARS OF CARGO OPERATIONS EXPERIENCE OR ANY EQUIVALENT AMOUNT OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE.

• 40HRS IN A WEEK/ SHIFT SCHEDULE INCLUDES WEEKEND AND HOLIDAYS
• MUST HAVE FLEXIBLE AVAILABILITY (MONDAY – SUNDAY: 6:00AM – 3:00AM SUBJECT TO CHANGE)
• Quarterly set schedule
• $19 - $21/hr with Excellent Benefit

REQUIREMENTS OF THE LAX AIR CARGO OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE:

• MUST have Associate degree
• Minimum 2 years of Cargo Operations OR any equivalent amount of education and experience
• Must be flexible to work any shift schedules (Day Shift/ Night Shift) including weekends and holidays
• Must have Driver’s license and pass 10-year employment background check
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in MS Office
• Detail oriented, organized, and problem-solver

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE LAX AIR CARGO OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE:

• Oversee cargo handling conducted by all contractors accordingly to the company’s instructions/ policies/ requirement and in an efficient manner
• Act as a lead in charge for the Ground Handling Companies
• Ensure all regulations related to the operations are enforced and updated
• Support all other cargo operation departments as needed
• Directly assist customers in the case of operational irregularities and/or information requests
• Prepare reports and act on behalf of Supervisor as needed
• Perform any other duties as directed by management team
