    TITLE: JAPAN E-COMMERCE ACCOUNT MANAGER A MANUFACTURING COMPANY KNOWN FOR ITS SMART TECHNOLOGIES IS CURRENTLY SEEKING A JAPAN E-COMMERCE ACCOUNT MANAGER TO WORK AT THEIR TORRANCE OFFICE TO ACCELERATE THE GROWTH AND PROFITABILITY OF THEIR RETAIL E-COMMERCE BUSINESS.

    • Bilingual skills in English and Japanese is a MUST

    REQUIREMENTS OF THE JAPAN E-COMMERCE ACCOUNT MANAGER:

    • BACHELOR’S DEGREE
    • BUSINESS-LEVEL language ability in BOTH JAPANESE (WRITING) and ENGLISH (SPEAKING & WRITING)
    • 3 TO 4 YEARS OF E-COMMERCE EXPERIENCE (IN EITHER DTC SITES OR RETAILER E-COMMERCE SITES)
    • MUST HAVE STRONG E-COMMERCE ANALYTICAL BACKGROUND; DIRECT-TO-CONSUMER FULFILLMENT EXPERIENCE
    • Speaks fluent E-Commerce performance metrics – you know “ROAS” (Return on Advertising Spend), “conversion”, and “click-through rates” like the back of your hand
    • Successful track record of growing digital sales
    • Basic knowledge of social media marketing and how to run social media campaigns
    • Familiarity with Amazon Vendor Central and Amazon Seller Central is a major plus
    • Experience in consumer products, E-commerce sales, or in an analytics role
    • Extremely analytical and enjoys being immersed in data and deriving trends from data
    • Tech-savvy; Comfortable with using Excel and Proficient at numerical analysis
    • Has articulate and precise communication
    • Loves problem-solving and strategizing
    • Possesses a strong and critical sense of digital design and aesthetic, as related to website usability and functionality

    RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JAPAN E-COMMERCE ACCOUNT MANAGER:

    • Oversee the company’s business with Amazon Japan, the company’s Japan website, and may include other online marketplaces for the Japanese market
    • Increase sales and profitability for these existing digital accounts
    • Continuous review of digital accounts and competitor digital product listings to identify best practices and areas in need of attention
    • Optimize product listings, content, visual assets, and conversion rates
    • Enhance the company’s product and brand presence on websites
    • Analyze sales performance on a weekly basis
    • Monitor marketing performance and spend on keyword campaigns and product ads
    • Frequent discussion of online presentation strategy with Account Managers and Director of Sales
    • Excel analyses to assess the product and/or initiative performance and to identify opportunities
    • Social Media Digital Marketing tasks to drive traffic to the company’s Japan website
